Just wanted a meal to eat with my kid.there was boo boo in every shrimp they served me with hair on it.i have pics and videos this what not only a health hazard to me and my 3year old who wanted to share with me but the growing baby inside of me as well. I would never recommend this place it needs to be shut down for health safety reasons.

I had been visiting Empress Garden for years. I stopped going because of the distance from where I lived. I visited recently and ordered sweet and sour chicken, which I asked for light soy sauce on the rice and was told that if I wanted new rice cooked, I would have to "order shrimp fried rice. (spend extra money for quality -better prepared food - I'm guessing ) "I asked for no MSG and was told, "well, it's in the food, and it's already prepared. "I received the food, drove 45 minutes away, opened the food, and it was old. The rice was grainy and had been mixed with other rice. There were three pieces of a whole - undercooked shrimp on top. The egg rolls were tasteless, and the customer service was frustrating. The gentleman who answered the phone was very condescending and more concerned with the profit. He eventually apologized Thank Goodness! I am still quite disappointed, and it's no secret why I have not been able to get their food. This is NOT the same place that l've visited before. I will not be returning, and I am saddened that they would send a customer out with food like that. My food was over $40, and I was still hungry - which required me to spend my additional hard-earned money. Please do better.

The chicken and garlic sauce was well cooked. The vegetables were very fresh, and you could tell the plate was hot off the grill. I am not a 'Chinese Food' eater, so this was a pleasant experience. Update: Shrimp and Garlic Sauce taste much better. Shrimp is clean, large, and juicy. Food is usually fresh and hot. Update as of March 2023: AS of late, the food here has really been hit or miss. They have given me some distasteful food the last two times (see pic $20 for this!) currently taking a break. Be careful with food....there may be different chefs/cooks, but not going back for a while it upset my stomach. Absolutely HIT OR MISS type of place!

Giving 3 stars because of past experiences which have been good. Today I ordered almond boneless chicken. Nothing fancy. I asked in the online order for hot mustard, and no plum sauce. They got that correct. What they didn’t get correct is I received no gravy with my order. What kind of psychopath would order ab chicken with no gravy? This is a basic order. To not include the gravy or to not check to be sure it’s in the bag before you give it to me is ridiculous. I have to drive almost 10 min one way on my lunch break to get this order. You’ve lost a customer, I don’t have time for mistakes like this with the most basic of orders.

So impressed by this hidden gem. Had an absolutely amazing meal here. All the dishes we tried were perfectly prepared and had a delicate balance of flavor that added a unique twist on classic Chinese-American cuisine. Squid apps, salt shrimp, steak and Singapore noodles were all delicious. Will be thinking about this meal until I have a chance to come back again!

First time back here since Covid. Ordered Broccoli shrimp dinner. Ate the egg roll first then opened the container to start eating my food. I saw something right there on top of the broccoli that I knew wasn't rice because rice doesn't have rings on it. I picked it up on the fork and examined it. "I know this isn't what it looks like!" I examined it more. Had to run a google check because I didn't want to believe my eyes. I moved the fork around a bit in the food that was still piping hot but there was a clear white slime that my fork picked up. I have no idea what the slime was but I was done. Grossed out. Called to tell them what I found. Took the full container back and received a full refund. A restaurant has one time to turn me off. I will never again patronize this place. How many ppl ate that bug infected rice and didn't know because it blends in so well? All unused food that sat for a whole year during Covid lock down should've been thrown in the trash, not cooked and served to customers. Whatever the managements response/excuse or denial may be, its inexcusable.
